Short & Long Speech on Water Conservation in English For Students
Short Speech on Water Conservation For Students(150 to 200 Words)
Good morning everyone,
Water is a gift from nature. It is necessary for drinking, cooking, farming, and industries. But today, water is becoming less. Many parts of India face water shortages. Some villages do not get clean drinking water.
One big reason for this problem is wastage of water. People leave taps open. They use too much water for washing and cleaning. Factories pollute rivers and lakes. Forests are cut down, so there is less rainfall. If we do not stop this, we will face a big crisis.
We must save water. We can do this by using water carefully. We should turn off taps when not in use. We should fix leaking pipes. We must use rainwater properly. People should not waste water in homes, schools, or offices. We must spread awareness about saving water.
The government is also working to save water. Many projects are started to clean rivers and store rainwater. But the government alone cannot do everything. Every person must help in this effort.
Water is precious. Without it, life cannot exist. Let us all take a promise to save water. Every small effort can make a big difference.
Thank you.
