SPEECH WRITING ON SAVE WATER

Good morning, respected principal, teachers, and dear students. Today I am here to present a speech on "Save Water".

We all know that water is a precious natural resource that we cannot live without. All living beings like humans, animals, plants, etc, need water for their survival. We use water for various purposes like drinking, washing, cooking, cleaning and much more.

Water is used in agriculture for irrigation of crops. It protects our ecosystem and wildlife. We cannot imagine our lives without water, yet we continue to waste it without thinking about the consequences. Many regions of the world are facing the shortage of water. It is time for us to understand the significance of water and start conserving it.

We can save water in simple steps like turning off the tap after use, fixing leaks from taps and pipes, and planting drought resistant plants in our garden. There should be reusing and recycling of water. We should refrain from misusing and overusing our water resources. We should also promote rainwater harvesting, which can help save a significant amount of water.

We must remember that every drop counts. We should also educate others about the importance of water conservation and encourage them to do the same. It is important to save and preserve water resources for our future generations. Let us all take a pledge today to save water and make it a habit of life.
