The street lights in our area have not been repaired for quite a while. Just a couple of them are in working condition. At various places, there are no street lights at all. It causes a lot of inconvenience to the residents. The situation turns worse after the sunset. It can cause accidents and robberies making it a safety issue of the citizens. It is highly dangerous for the pedestrians also as it becomes too dark in the night. Some episodes of chain grabbing at night have been reported from some areas. Non-availability of proper lighting may further increase such anti-social activities.
In the circumstances, I request you to look into the matter and arrange proper lighting system in the area as soon as possible.

With due respect, I wish to draw your kind attention towards the insanitary condition prevailing in my locality. For the past 10 days, garbage has not been collected properly. The sweepers do not obey their duties properly. Heaps of rubbish and dirt can be seen on the streets. The drains are broken at many places. They are clogged due to rubbish in them. The streets are full of pits and have become dirty. During rainy season water collects on our streets. Due to unhygienic condition of our locality many diseases may break out. We have written many complaint letter to the sanitary inspector but no action has been taken so far.
You are, therefore, requested to look into the matter and do the needful as soon as possible.
