2 Minute Speech on Patience For School Assembly in English

Good morning, respected Principal, teachers, and dear friends.

Today, I want to talk about patience. Patience means staying calm and waiting for things to happen at the right time. It helps us in every part of life.

We all want success, happiness, and good results. But nothing happens quickly. Everything takes time. If we have patience, we do not get angry or sad. Instead, we keep working hard and waiting for the right moment.

Patience is very important in studies. Sometimes, we do not understand a subject. If we lose patience, we may stop trying. But if we stay patient, study daily, and practice, we will succeed.

Patience also helps in real life. When we stand in a long queue or wait for someone, we should stay calm. Getting angry does not help. It only makes us unhappy.

Great people like Mahatma Gandhi and Sachin Tendulkar had patience. Mahatma Gandhi fought for our freedom with patience and peace. He never used violence. In the end, his patience won, and India became independent. Sachin worked hard for many years to become a great cricketer. They never gave up.

Nature also teaches us patience. A seed takes time to grow into a big tree. A baby takes years to grow into an adult. A river takes time to reach the sea. Good things take time. Everything happens at the right time.

So, we must practice patience in life. It makes us strong, happy, and successful. With patience, we can achieve anything.

Thank you!
